With twenty years' experience in publishing and editing, we are passionate about books, and we apply that same passion to editing. At Narwhal, we will support you with the services you need to best realize your vision--no more, no less. Narwhal provides highly customized service to writers of books and stories for adults and young adults. We edit selected children's books as well. Whether you are an experienced, published writer or handing over your precious first manuscript, we will do what you need to get your story into print.
What Narwhal WILL do:

- Tell you immediately if our original assessment needs adjustment

- Provide feedback that is in the form and style you will find most useful
- Answer questions you have about your manuscript, the editing, or the publishing industry--even after editing is finished
- Work with you to make the process affordable
- Refer you to another editorial company if our style or availability is not a match for you
- Conduct ourselves with honesty and integrity and treat you and your work with respect
- Donate a portion of our profits to conservation
What Narwhal will NOT do:

- Charge you for more time than we spend on your work
- Focus on grammar and ignore the story
- Make substantive changes to your work without consulting you
- Brutalize your manuscript
- Provide feedback in a way that is harsh or insulting
- Most of all, we will never forget that it is your story and it is our job to support you in actualizing your vision.
